VSE Enrolments Amidst COVID-19 Closures

VSE enrolments at Casinos and Community Gaming Centres during COVID-19 closures

In this unique and challenging time, we all need to do our part to help control the spread of the COVID-19 virus. While B.C. gambling facilities are closed, please be aware of some required adjustments to the Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (VSE) enrolment process. These adjustments are in place to comply with physical distancing requirements for the health and safety of our players and staff.

New VSE enrolments

To enrol in the VSE program while gambling facilities are closed, please contact BCLC’s Customer Support Centre at 1-866-815-0222. The agent will record your name and contact details. Then, as soon as venues are set to open, a BCLC Investigator will follow up with you to complete the enrolment process.

Renew an existing VSE agreement

If you need to renew your VSE agreement, please contact BCLC’s Customer Support Centre at 1-866-815-0222. A BCLC Investigator will set a new ‘temporary’ agreement renewal and contact you when venues are set to open to obtain your documentation.

Please note that self-exclusions from play on PlayNow.com, BCLC’s online gambling website, are not affected by the closures due to COVID-19. However this does not exclude you from playing at a gambling facility once they reopen.

Further support is available through BCLC’s GameSense Program or the Provincial Responsible and Problem Gambling Program or Gambling Support BC at 1-888-795-6111.
